Workforce Employment Solutions is looking to recruit compassionate and reliable Domiciliary Care Workers to deliver high-quality care to individuals in their own homes across Colchester and the surrounding areas.

We are primarily recruiting Domiciliary Care Workers for weekend cover, with long day shifts preferred, although additional shifts may also be available. If you're an experienced Domiciliary Care Worker who is passionate about helping people live independently in their own homes, we'd love to hear from you.

As a Domiciliary Care Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting vulnerable adults to remain safe, comfortable and independent in their own homes while delivering person-centred care with dignity and respect.

Your duties will include:

• Providing personal care and assistance with daily living activities
\n
• Supporting with medication administration (where trained and authorised)
\n
• Preparing meals and assisting with nutrition and hydration
\n
• Providing companionship and emotional support
\n
• Encouraging independence and promoting wellbeing
\n
• Maintaining accurate care records and reporting any concerns
\n
• Travelling between clients' homes to provide scheduled care visits
\n

To be successful in this Domiciliary Care Worker role, you will need:

• Previous experience as a Domiciliary Care Worker, Home Care Worker, Care Assistant or Support Worker
\n
• A compassionate, reliable and professional approach to care
\n
• Availability to work weekends
\n
• A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
\n
• Willingness to travel between service users' homes
\n
• Unrestricted full-time right to work in the UK
\n

Please note: Due to the nature of certain care packages and the personal preferences of some service users, female Domiciliary Care Workers are preferred for specific assignments.

Visa sponsorship is not available for this position, and sponsorship transfers cannot be supported. Applicants must already have the right to work in the UK. Candidates currently on sponsored visas may apply provided they are able to work within the hours permitted by their visa.
