We are seeking a Site Director who is passionate about managing a unique 250-acre coastal estate, ensuring an exceptional environment for our shareholders, guests, and visitors. Day-to-day of the role:

  • Oversee the operational management of the beach complex, including the private beach, sea defences, lakes, and grounds.
  • \n
  • Manage the business activities and ensure the upkeep of the 250 acres.
  • \n
  • Develop, manage, and control the company’s income and expenditure in line with agreed business plans and budgets.
  • \n
  • Recruit and manage staff according to budgetary requirements, ensuring all company HR procedures are carried out.
  • \n
  • Maintain compliance with Health & Safety, food safety, and other regulatory requirements.
  • \n
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and operational reports as requested by the Board.
  • \n
  • Attend Board meetings and general meetings of the shareholders, preparing necessary documents.
  • \n
  • Plan grounds work and projects to coincide with the seasons.
  • \n
  • Work with environmental agencies and neighbouring landowners on collaborative projects for the enhancement of the site.
  • \n
  • Enforce beach rules adherence by shareholders and users of the beach.
  • \n

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in managing a similar facility or estate.
  • \n
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing both permanent and seasonal teams.
  • \n
  • Excellent understanding of regulatory and legal obligations.
  • \n
  • Ability to develop and manage budgets effectively.
  • \n
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • \n
  • Experience in preparing financial and operational reports.
  • \n
  • Collaborative spirit, able to work with various stakeholders including environmental agencies and landowners.
