Quality Inspector

Role: Quality InspectorLocation: DudleyHours of work: Monday to Friday- 7am to 4.30pmHourly Rate: £14phDuration: Temporary OngoingWe are recruiting for an experienced quality inspector to join our client in the Dudley area, the client are a busy automotive manufacturing company. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail and previous experience carrying out quality inspections within a manufacturing or automotive setting.Key Responsibilities:\n

• Carrying out visual inspections of manufactured components.
\n
• Using callipers, micrometres, gauges, and other measuring equipment to ensure products meet specification.
\n
• Conducting first-off, in-process, and final quality inspections.
\n
• Identifying and reporting defects or non-conforming parts.
\n
• Recording inspection results accurately and maintaining quality documentation.
\n
• Working closely with production teams to ensure quality standards are consistently achieved.
\n
• Ensuring all work is completed in line with customer specifications and company quality procedures.
\n

Requirements:\n

\n
• Previous experience as a Quality Inspector within a manufacturing or automotive environment.
\n
• Confident using callipers, micrometres, gauges, and other precision measuring equipment.
\n
• Strong visual inspection skills with excellent attention to detail.
\n
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings is advantageous.
\n
• Good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
\n
• A proactive approach to maintaining high quality standards.
\n
