Job Description
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Practice Manager with an accountancy background, to join a well-established and progressive firm of Chartered Accountants. This is a pivotal role, taking responsibility for the day-to-day operational & financial management of the practice. Working closely with the Directors, you will oversee compliance, systems, finance, administration and office operations while helping to drive continuous improvement across the firm.The Role\n

- Oversee the day-to-day running of the practice and its support functions. \n
- Manage operational processes, workflows and practice management systems. \n
- Oversee the firm's internal finance function, including billing, credit control, payroll and VAT. \n
- Ensure compliance with AML, GDPR, Health & Safety, ICAEW and other regulatory requirements. \n
- Lead operational projects, system implementations and process improvements, including the adoption of AI and new technologies. \n
- Manage supplier relationships, office facilities and IT providers. \n
- Produce management information and operational reports for the Directors. \n
- Support the management and development of administrative staff. \n
- \n
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification. \n
- A minimum of three years' experience as a Practice Manager within a UK accountancy practice. \n
- A strong understanding of the operational and regulatory requirements of an accountancy firm. \n
- Experience managing compliance, office operations and practice management systems. \n
- Excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills. \n
- A proactive individual who enjoys improving systems, processes and efficiencies. \n
