Social Worker - Support & Protection Team

Location: Various Councils in North EastWorking Pattern: Hybrid - 3 days office/visits and 2 days working from homePay: £45 per hour (Umbrella) + £100 weekly expenses

Randstad is proud to partner with North east Councils to recruit an experienced Social Worker to join the Support & Protection Team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Social Worker to support children and families while working within a dedicated safeguarding service.

We are seeking an experienced Social Worker to join the Support & Protection Team, undertaking statutory assessments, safeguarding interventions, and supporting positive outcomes for children and families.

The successful candidate will manage a varied workload, work collaboratively with partner agencies, and provide high-quality social work practice within a child-focused environment.

  Qualified Social Worker with relevant children's services experience

\n

  Registered with Social Work England

\n
• \n

  Strong understanding of safeguarding, child protection, and relevant legislation

• \n

  Experience managing complex cases and undertaking assessments

\n
• \n

  Ability to work effectively with children, families, and multi-agency partners

\n
• \n

  Strong communication, assessment, and report-writing skills

\n
