About the Role

Our client, a well-established wholesale distribution business based in Tonbridge, is looking to recruit two reliable and professional Delivery Drivers to join their growing team.

Covering a wide delivery network across Kent, London, and surrounding areas, successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring customer orders are delivered safely, accurately, and on time. Daily routes can vary between 200 and 400 miles, depending on customer requirements and delivery volumes.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced drivers who enjoy being on the road, take pride in providing exceptional customer service, and can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete daily delivery routes across Kent, London, and surrounding regions.
\n
• Load and unload goods safely and securely.
\n
• Conduct vehicle checks and report any defects promptly.
\n
• Deliver orders accurately and within scheduled timeframes.
\n
• Maintain delivery documentation and records.
\n
• Provide excellent customer service at every delivery point.
\n
• Plan and adapt routes to ensure efficient and timely deliveries.
\n
• Follow all company health and safety procedures and road traffic regulations.
\n
• Ensure company vehicles are kept clean, presentable, and roadworthy.
\n

Requirements

\n
• Full, valid UK driving licence.
\n
• Clean licence or no more than 6 penalty points (essential).
\n
• Experience driving long-wheelbase vans.
\n
• Previous multi-drop delivery experience is highly desirable.
\n
• Good knowledge of Kent, London, and surrounding areas.
\n
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
\n
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
\n
• Good understanding of UK road networks and route planning.
\n
• Reliable, responsible, and professional approach to work.
\n
• Commitment to maintaining high health and safety standards.
\n
