HGV Class 2 Driver (Moffett Preferred)

\nThe Role
\nAre you an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver looking for your next opportunity?
\nWe're recruiting for a reliable and customer-focused driver to join a successful and growing business within the glass manufacturing and distribution sector.
\nBased from Witham, Essex, you'll be responsible for delivering glass products safely and efficiently to customers across the UK. This is a multi-drop role, typically involving 6–10 deliveries per day, depending on load size and location.
\nExpect: Early starts A variety of delivery locations Regular city driving The occasional overnight stay (with a night-out allowance)
\nAs one of the company's key customer-facing representatives, you'll be expected to provide a professional and friendly service at every delivery.
\nKey Responsibilities
\nDeliver products safely, accurately and on time
\nLoad, secure and unload glass products in line with safety procedures
\nUndertake manual handling duties where required
\nPlan routes effectively to meet delivery schedules
\nComplete daily vehicle checks and report defects promptly
\nAdhere to all transport legislation and road traffic regulations
\nMaintain accurate delivery and vehicle records
\nKeep in regular communication with the transport team and colleagues
\nAttend training and development sessions when required
\nFollow all company policies, procedures and health & safety guidelines
\nAbout You
\nTo be successful in this role, you'll have:
\nHGV Class 2 (Category C) licence or above
\nValid Driver CPC qualification
\nDigital Tachograph Card
\nMoffett Licence (highly desirable)
\nPrevious Moffett operating experience (advantageous)
\nMulti-drop HGV experience (preferred but not essential)
\nStrong time management and organisational skills
\nExcellent communication and customer service skills
\nA professional, reliable and safety-conscious approach
