Job Description

We're partnering with a growing, technology-focused infrastructure business to recruit a Head of Mergers & Acquisitions. Reporting to the CFO, this is a high-impact opportunity to lead the full acquisition lifecycle, driving an ambitious buy-and-build strategy focused on UK technology and environmental businesses.This is a hands-on role where you'll take ownership of deal origination, financial modelling, valuation, negotiation, due diligence and post-acquisition integration, with responsibility for delivering multiple acquisitions each year.-Source and originate acquisition opportunities across technology and environmental sectors.-Build financial models and valuations to assess investment opportunities.-Lead negotiations, due diligence and transaction execution.-Prepare investment papers and present recommendations to senior leadership.-Drive post-acquisition integration to maximise commercial value.About You-3-5+ years' M&A experience within Corporate Finance, Private Equity or Corporate Development.-Proven experience delivering acquisitions from origination through to completion.-Strong financial modelling, valuation and commercial negotiation skills.-Experience assessing SME businesses, ideally in the £500k-£3m EBITDA range.-Confident working autonomously and engaging with senior stakeholders.This is an excellent opportunity to join a business with an active acquisition strategy, working directly with the executive team in a highly visible and commercially influential role.
