\nSalary: £26,000 - £30,000 (Dependent on Experience)
About the Role\nAn established environmental and engineering consultancy is looking to appoint a Graduate Engineering Geologist to join their expanding Coventry team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone with up to one year of industry experience to begin their career within a supportive and experienced consultancy.
\nYou will gain hands-on experience working on a wide variety of ground investigation, geotechnical, and contaminated land projects, supporting developments from initial site investigations through to reporting and project delivery. With a combination of site work, office-based reporting, and structured training, this role offers excellent long-term career progression.

- Assist with ground investigations on a variety of sites. \n
- Log soil and rock samples in accordance with industry standards. \n
- Carry out groundwater and ground gas monitoring. \n
- Support Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments. \n
- Collect environmental and geotechnical samples for laboratory testing. \n
- Prepare factual reports with support from senior colleagues. \n
- Maintain accurate site records and technical documentation. \n
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental procedures. \n
- Assist with data interpretation and technical report preparation. \n
- Liaise professionally with clients, contractors, and the wider project team. \n
- \n
- Degree in Engineering Geology, Geology, Earth Sciences, Environmental Science, or a related discipline. \n
- Previous site investigation experience through a placement, internship, or graduate role is beneficial but not essential. \n
- A willingness to work outdoors and travel to project sites across the UK. \n
- Strong communication and report writing skills. \n
- Good organisational skills and a proactive approach to learning. \n
- Full UK driving licence (or working towards obtaining one). \n
