About the Role

\n

We are seeking a Temporary Archive Scanning Administrator to support an important project within our Office Services team. As part of a wider initiative to close our offsite archive storage facility, we are digitising historical paper records to ensure all required documentation is securely retained electronically.

\n

This role will primarily involve scanning and indexing documents, helping to ensure records are accurately converted into digital formats. The position would suit someone who is organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable carrying out repetitive administrative tasks with accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Scan and digitise paper documents in line with company procedures.
  • \n
  • Prepare documents for scanning, including sorting, organising and removing staples or bindings where required.
  • \n
  • Check scanned documents for quality and accuracy.
  • \n
  • Save and file electronic records correctly within designated systems and folders.
  • \n
  • Assist with the organisation and disposal of paper records where appropriate.
  • \n
  • Support the Office Services team with other general administrative duties as required.
  • \n
  • Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive documentation.
  • \n

Essential

  • Previous administration experience.

  • Good attention to detail and accuracy.
  • \n
  • Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Office.

  • Ability to manage a high-volume workload and repetitive tasks.

  • Strong organisational skills.

  • Reliable and able to work independently.

Working Pattern

We are open to flexible working arrangements. The role could be undertaken on a full-time basis or across shorter working days, depending on the successful candidate's availability and the needs of the project.
