Our client is a well-established and growing accountancy practice seeking a Bookkeeper & Payroll Administrator to join their outsourced services team. This is a client-facing position offering a blend of bookkeeping, payroll, VAT and management accounts responsibilities, alongside excellent flexibility and hybrid working.The Role Working with a portfolio of clients, you will be responsible for delivering a high-quality bookkeeping and payroll service while building strong client relationships.Key Responsibilities\n

• Managing all aspects of bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients
\n
• Processing payroll accurately and on time
\n
• Preparing and submitting VAT returns
\n
• Producing management accounts
\n
• Completing balance sheet reconciliations
\n
• Posting accounting journals
\n
• Acting as the first point of contact for assigned clients
\n
• Managing your own workload and client portfolio effectively
\n

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:\n

\n
• Previous bookkeeping and payroll experience
\n
• Experience preparing management accounts
\n
• Strong knowledge of VAT processes and requirements
\n
• Experience working within an accountancy practice
\n
• Good working knowledge of Xero
\n
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
\n
• The ability to manage multiple client accounts and deadlines
\n
• Experience working to time budgets
\n
