Warehouse Operative

Job Title: Warehouse Operative Location: Paddock Wood Contract Type: Ongoing temporary contract with the potential to go permanent Salary: £12.82 per hour (£30,000 per annum)Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am-5pm OR 12:30pm-10pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with picking orders using handheld scanners. Load items onto a trolley and take to the packing area.
\n
• Assist with packing orders into boxes, seal and label.
\n
• Assist with loading & unloading lorries.
\n
• Drive forklifts.
\n
• Work to pick (40 per hour) & pack (55 per hour) targets.
\n

What We’re Looking For:

\n
• Must have previous warehouse experience.
\n
• Must be comfortable using handheld scanners.
\n
• Must have comfortable with manual handling up to 25kg.
\n
• Must have safety boots & hi vis.
\n
• Forklift licences such as counterbalance and/or reach would be desirable.
\n
