Description
\nManagement Accountant responsibilities:
\n- \n
- Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, KPI reporting, and variance analysis against budgets and forecasts \n
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes, monitoring performance and providing financial insight and recommendations to support decision-making \n
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, account reconciliations, month-end/year-end close activities, and maintenance of financial records \n
- Monitor cash flow, inventory provisions, obsolete stock, and financial risks, identifying opportunities for cost savings and operational improvements. \n
- Support VAT return submissions, audit requirements, and compliance with accounting standards, policies, and internal controls \n
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to improve financial systems, reporting processes, and overall operational efficiency \n
Profile
\nA successful Management Accountant should have:

- A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field \n
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills \n
- Experience in management accounting \n
- Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis \n
- Proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Excel \n
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to work \n
