Management Accountant

Management Accountant, Investment Management firm, London, up to £75,000A growing Investment Management firm are looking looking for a management accountant to join a dynamic, growing finance team. With a long-standing track record of backing ambitious companies and building resilient, future-ready assets globally this is your chance to contribute to meaningful, high-impact work while developing your own professional journey.What You’ll Do:In this role, you’ll play a key part in delivering accurate, insightful financial information and ensuring smooth financial operations across the group. Your responsibilities will include:\n

• Preparing monthly management accounting reports and balance sheet reconciliations
\n
• Reviewing bank reconciliations, staff expenses, travel and credit card journals
\n
• Working closely with external payroll providers to ensure timely, accurate payroll delivery
\n
• Preparing payroll journals, staff cost schedules, pension and share plan contribution schedules
\n
• Reconciling payroll deductions and maintaining payroll-related balance sheet ledgers
\n
• Reviewing management accounts expense schedules
\n
• Preparing quarterly VAT returns
\n
• Supporting statutory audits and contributing to ongoing process improvements
\n
• Providing proactive support across the wider Finance team
\n

What You’ll Bring:We’re looking for someone who combines technical expertise with a proactive, collaborative mindset. You will have:\n

\n
• ACA or ACCA qualification
\n
• 1 or 2 PQE as an management or financial accountant ideally within a financial services firm
\n
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
\n
• Confidence prioritising tasks and taking ownership
\n
• A problem-solving, inquisitive approach
\n
• Strong communication skills
\n
• Ability to drive efficiency and operational improvements
\n
• Flexibility to support colleagues across the finance function
\n
• Intermediate Excel skills
\n
