Assistant FP&A Accountant

We are currently recruiting for an Assistant FP&A Accountant to join an Ipswich based business on a permanent basis.

This role is ideal for a motivated finance professional looking to develop their career within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
\n
• Analyse financial performance and investigate variances.
\n
• Maintain and update financial models, reports, and dashboards.
\n
• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities.
\n
• Collaborate across the FP&A function to drive continuous improvement and best practice.
\n

Key skills:

\n
• Part-qualified or studying towards ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent accounting qualification.
\n
• Previous experience in accounting, finance, or FP&A support roles.
\n
• Strong Excel skills with a keen interest in data.
\n
• Strong analytical skills.
\n
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
\n
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work across multiple departments.
