Stock & Logistics Coordinator£27,750 per annumMonday to FridayHitchin We are recruiting for a proactive and organised Stock & Logistics Coordinator to join a growing pharmaceutical wholesaling business. This is a varied position that combines stock administration, order processing, logistics coordination and operational support. Working closely with the sales, purchasing and warehouse teams, you'll play a key role in ensuring products are processed, dispatched and delivered efficiently while maintaining accurate stock records and customer information. This role would suit somebody who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has excellent attention to detail and is looking for a position that offers variety and responsibility. - Process customer orders accurately using internal systems and Excel. \n
- Create and manage purchase orders and sales orders. \n
- Maintain accurate customer, stock and order information. \n
- Update internal databases and administrative records. \n
- Generate reports and support inventory management activities. \n
- \n
- Monitor stock levels and support stock management processes. \n
- Maintain accurate stock records and investigate discrepancies. \n
- Assist with stock tracking and inventory reporting. \n
- Ensure all stock movements are recorded accurately. \n
- \n
- Arrange and coordinate deliveries and shipments. \n
- Liaise with couriers, suppliers and internal departments regarding delivery schedules. \n
- Track orders and resolve delivery issues when required. \n
- Support transport planning and dispatch activities. \n
- \n
- Work closely with the warehouse team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. \n
- Support goods-in, goods-out and dispatch activities when required. \n
- Assist with checking incoming deliveries and preparing outgoing orders. \n
- Occasionally support deliveries subject to business requirements. \n
- \n
- Provide updates on orders, deliveries and stock availability. \n
- Handle customer and supplier enquiries professionally. \n
- Build strong working relationships across sales, purchasing and warehouse functions. \n
- Resolve queries efficiently and escalate issues where necessary. \n
- \n
- Previous experience within logistics, stock control, warehouse administration, order processing or a similar coordination role. \n
- Strong IT skills, including Excel and internal systems. \n
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. \n
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships internally and externally. \n
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment. \n
- A proactive, flexible and hands-on approach. \n
- Full UK driving licence preferred. \n
- Forklift licence would be advantageous but is not essential. \n

- Monday to Friday, 8.45am - 5.30pm (45-minute unpaid lunch break). \n
- Salary: £27,750 per annum. \n
- 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, with some days reserved for the Christmas shutdown period. \n
