Role: PDI Technician

Location: Cheltenham

Salary: £35,000 Basic | OTE £45,000

Monday to Friday: 8:00am – 5:00pm | NO WEEKENDS

Richard Abson Group is currently assisting a reputable main car dealership in Cheltenham in their search for a skilled and motivated PDI Technician.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified technician looking to join a professional, well-equipped workshop where quality workmanship is valued. Working as part of an experienced team, you'll play a key role in ensuring all new and used vehicles are prepared to the highest standards before delivery to customers. With a genuine work-life balance, you'll enjoy a Monday-to-Friday schedule with no weekend working.

As a PDI Technician, you'll be responsible for:

• Carrying out Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) on new and used vehicles in line with manufacturer standards.
\n
• Completing servicing, repairs, software updates and accessory fitting where required.
\n
• Diagnosing and rectifying any faults identified during the inspection process.
\n
• Ensuring all work is completed efficiently, accurately and to the highest standard.
\n
• Maintaining a clean and organised working environment while adhering to all health and safety procedures.
\n

The ideal PDI Technician will have:

• A Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent).
\n
• Previous experience as a PDI Technician or Vehicle Technician within a dealership or similar automotive environment.
\n
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
\n
• A positive attitude with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
\n
• A full UK driving licence.
\n

Salary & Benefits:
