Children's Social Worker- CP

Our Client, a Yorkshire council is seeking a Children’s Social Worker to join their CP Team.

Responsibilities of this role:

\n
• Manage a caseload of Child Protection cases, ensuring children are safeguarded and protected from harm through effective assessment, planning, and intervention.
\n
• Undertake statutory visits, assessments, and direct work with children and families to identify risks, strengths, and support needs.
\n
• Develop, implement, and review Child Protection Plans, ensuring actions are outcome-focused and completed within statutory timescales.
\n
• Build effective relationships with children, families, and partner agencies to promote engagement and improve outcomes.
\n
• Attend and contribute to Strategy Discussions, Child Protection Conferences, Core Groups, and other multi-agency safeguarding meetings.
\n
• Assess and manage risk, taking appropriate action to safeguard children and responding promptly to emerging concerns.
\n
• Work collaboratively with partner agencies to coordinate interventions and ensure children receive the support and protection they need.
\n
• Maintain accurate, timely, and high-quality case records, assessments, and court reports in line with statutory requirements and professional standards.
\n

Requirements of this role:

\n
• Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
\n
• Must have minimum of 3 year's experience working as a Qualified social worker
\n
