\nWe're looking for a talented Multi-Skilled Engineer to join our Engineering Team at West Auckland. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where no two days are the same, and where you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact on safety, reliability, efficiency and continuous improvement.
\nWorking Pattern
\nThis role operates on a rotating 3-shift pattern:
\n- \n
- Days: Monday to Friday, 07:00 - 14:30 \n
- Afternoons: Monday to Friday, 14:30 - 22:00 \n
- Nights: Monday to Thursday, 22:00 - 07:00 \n
Flexibility to support business and operational requirements is essential.

\nWhat You'll Be Doing
\n- \n
- Carrying out planned, preventative and reactive maintenance activities \n
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults \n
- Minimising downtime and improving equipment reliability \n
- Supporting installation, commissioning and modification of machinery \n
- Working closely with production teams to maximise performance \n
- Contributing to continuous improvement and reliability initiatives \n
- Maintaining accurate maintenance records and documentation \n
- Supporting a safe working environment through high engineering standards and best practice. \n
What We're Looking For
\nWe're looking for an enthusiastic engineer with strong fault-finding skills and a proactive approach to maintenance.
\nIdeally, you'll have:
\n- \n
- A recognised engineering apprenticeship or equivalent qualification \n
- Mechanical and electrical maintenance experience within manufacturing or production environments \n
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills \n
- Experience of planned preventative maintenance systems \n
- A commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement \n
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team. \n
It would be great if you also have experience of:
\n- \n
- FMCG, packaging or automated manufacturing environments \n
- Welding and fabrication \n
- CMMS systems such as SAP \n
- Continuous improvement and reliability-focused maintenance practices. \n
