Part Time Assistant Accountant

Job Title: Part Time Assistant Accountant Location: Killinghall, HarrogateSalary: £14.00 - £20.00 per hour Hours: 2 to 3 days per week, Monday to Friday A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Assistant Accountant to join a successful and established organisation with over 25 years of proven service on a part time basis. This role offers the opportunity to become part of a supportive team, providing assistance across a range of finance activities including accounts administration, reconciliations, payroll support and financial processing.Key Responsibilities of Part Time Assistant Accountant:\n

• Support day to day finance and accounting activities.
\n
• Assist with bookkeeping, reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records.
\n
• Process invoices and support purchase and sales ledger activities.
\n
• Assist with payroll administration and related finance tasks.
\n
• Use accounting systems including Xero and Sage to maintain financial information.
\n
• Produce reports and support finance administration using Excel.
\n
• Maintain organised records and ensure accuracy across financial processes.
\n
• Provide general support to the wider finance team as required.
\n

Experience Required:\n

\n
• Part AAT qualified or working towards completion.
\n
• Previous experience within a finance or accounts role.
\n
• Experience using Xero, Sage, Excel and payroll systems.
\n
• Strong understanding of accounting processes and financial administration.
\n
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately to deadlines.
\n
• Good organisational skills and a proactive approach to tasks.
\n
• Full UK Driving Licence and access to own transport
\n
