Join Claires Court as a Minibus Driver and help ensure the safe and smooth transport of our pupils. About the Role We are seeking a dependable and professional Minibus Driver to join our Estates Team. Working Monday to Friday, you will transport pupils to and from school and school activities, ensuring a safe, punctual, and friendly service. You will play a key role in maintaining high standards of safety, safeguarding, and vehicle care, while representing the school in a professional manner at all times. Key Responsibilities Safely transport pupils on designated routes and school activities Carry out daily vehicle checks and basic weekly maintenance checks Ensure vehicles are clean, safe, and roadworthy Maintain accurate passenger registers and transport records Monitor routes, traffic conditions, and delays Promote positive pupil behaviour and ensure safety at all times Report incidents, delays, or vehicle faults promptly Comply with all road safety, safeguarding, and health & safety regulations Person Specification Valid D1 or PCV driving licence Previous minibus driving experience preferred Strong understanding of road safety and compliance Reliable, punctual, and professional Calm and confident when working with children Committed to safeguarding and pupil welfare Flexible and a team player What We Offer Term-time only working (c.36 weeks per year) Consistent part-time hours (25 hours per week) Supportive and welcoming school community Ongoing training, including safeguarding Competitive salary Safeguarding Claires Court Schools are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
