Housing Officer or Assistant

Your new company We are currently recruiting for an experienced Housing Officer or Housing Assistant to join a busy and customer-focused housing team on a temporary contract for an initial period of 3 months, with the potential for extension.This is an excellent opportunity to support a well-established social housing organisation and make a real difference to local communities.Your new role Managing a designated housing patch and providing tenancy management support Dealing with tenant enquiries and resolving housing-related issues Supporting allocations, voids and lettings processes Assisting with rent arrears recovery and income management activities Investigating anti-social behaviour complaints and tenancy breaches Conducting home visits and estate management inspections Maintaining accurate housing records and case notes Delivering a high standard of customer service to tenants and stakeholdersWhat you'll need to succeed Previous experience in a Housing Officer, Housing Assistant or similar housing management role Knowledge of social housing legislation and best practice Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to manage a varied caseload and prioritise workload effectively Strong IT skills and experience updating housing management systems A full UK driving licence and access to transport would be advantageousWhat you'll get in return '05; Temporary contract with immediate start available'05; Initial 3-month assignment with potential for extension '05; Competitive hourly rate '05; Opportunity to gain experience within a respected social housing organisation '05; Supportive and collaborative team environment What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
