Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Maintenance Engineer to join our engineering team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance on production machinery and equipment.Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults.Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimise downtime.Install, relocate, and improve production machinery and equipment.Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and internal departments.Ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards.Participate in shift work, overtime, and call-outs when required.What We're Looking For Multi-skilled engineer with strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding experience.Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.Experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, pumps, compressors, and industrial production equipment.Electrical qualification (17th/18th Edition desirable).Experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment.Strong communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.Flexible, reliable, and able to work effectively under pressure.What You'll Bring A proactive, can-do attitude.Excellent teamwork and communication skills.Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.Ability to prioritise workloads and work independently when required.This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy manufacturing business where you can make a real impact on production performance and equipment reliabilityHours of Work Continental Shift Pattern36.50hrs per week working on our continental shift pattern, which involves working 3 x 12 hour 10 minute shifts per week rotating around days and nights (5.50am to 6pm/5.50pm to 6am).Benefits:15 Days holiday + Bank HolidaysAccess to Employee Assistance ProgrammeAccess to Benefits WebsiteDeath in ServiceTPBN1_UKTJ
