Your new companyHays Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Groundworker to join a growing civil engineering and utilities contractor working on electrical sub-station projects across the Greater Manchester area.This is an excellent opportunity for a hardworking and reliable groundworker looking for long-term work with the potential of a permanent position.Your new roleYou will be working as part of a team carrying out groundwork and civils activities associated with the installation of electrical substations, cabling routes and associated infrastructure.Excavation and preparation works for electrical substationsInstalling drainage systems and underground ductingTrenching and reinstatement worksConcrete works and foundation preparationBackfilling and compactionAssisting with the installation of utility and electrical infrastructureWorking safely around live construction and utility environmentsGeneral groundworks and labouring duties as requiredWhat you'll need to succeedPrevious groundworks or civil engineering experienceExperience carrying out drainage and ducting worksCSCS Card essentialMachine tickets are an advantageWhat you'll get in return?
