We have an exciting opportunity for a Field Service Engineer, field based in Willenhall, West Midlands, you will be covering South East of EnglandCompany Van & Equipment SuppliedMust have IT fault finding experience/skillsWe are looking for someone who is motivated, friendly, hands-on and passionate about delivering great service. Your role will include prioritising and providing the best service in terms of new EPOS installations and specialist support as outlined below. We are looking for someone who will enjoy working alone or as part of a small team and has great attention to detail.Key Tasks/Responsibilities:Installation of new EPOS hardware including, data cabling if appropriate? Installation and deployment of systems using correct and documented proceduresProvide EPOS operational standards advice Via Telephone, modem, Best Practice and/or trainingEnsuring personal availability at all times required within defined territory(s)Holding adequate spares availability at all times within defined territory(s)Ensuring that all aspects of the build and repair process are followed at all timesEnsuring all areas of the repair center and vehicles are in a clean & acceptable workable state at all timesCompliance that all deployed/repaired systems are asset tracked and assigned to the correct customerEnsuring non-EPOS PC based ordering systems are supported and available at all timesSupport the Helpdesk team as requiredGeneral administration dutiesCommunicate any observations of future potential issues which may arise from any IT systemKey Skills:Basic numeracy and literacy skills are requiredAn Electrical qualification is preferred but not essentialKnowledge of structured data cabling is preferredExcellent communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationshipsIT fault finding experience/skills (essential)About us:At A.F.
