My client, a leading professional services organisation in Liverpool, is seeking a Finance Business Partner to join their stunning head office in Liverpool City Centre.The Finance Business Partner sits within the Central Finance Team, supporting the Programme Director and Senior Operations team across multiple programmes.This role offers you the opportunity to become an integral part of a highly collaborative environment, where your expertise will directly influence operational performance and strategic decision-making.You will be empowered to facilitate focused finance support, prepare detailed financial and performance models, and share key insights that drive revenue and profit generation.The organisation values flexibility, inclusivity, and continuous professional development, ensuring you have access to training opportunities and supportive leadership.If you are passionate about making a tangible impact through financial analysis and enjoy working in a culture committed to ongoing improvement, this position provides the perfect platform for your growth.What you'll do:Partner with Directors, Senior Operations Managers, and other functions to analyse continuous improvement initiatives and move them forward in line with high-performance strategies.Prepare detailed financial models that support operational planning and maximise revenue generation while ensuring user-friendly reporting tools are embedded into operational activities.Monitor periodic management accounts outputs, query results, and focus on driving performance by enhancing the quality of financial information available to operations.Confidently communicate with stakeholders and management teams to obtain information required for rolling forecast financial model updates in a timely manner.Build adaptable Excel financial models for key contracts including summary reporting that can be easily followed by users across the business.Perform periodic profit & loss reviews as well as contract performance reviews with operational leads using financial and KPI reports; discuss areas or suggestions for improvements.Provide timely cost centre management information with clear explanations for cost variances to support decision-making processes.Create financial and performance reporting tools for new contract implementation, embedding their use into operational activities for improved efficiency.Develop models for monthly, periodic, and long-range forecasting as well as annual budgeting processes capable of consolidating up to 200 cost centres.Respond promptly to ad-hoc commercial analysis requests from customers or stakeholders while supporting the Head of Commercial Finance and wider finance function in embracing emerging technology.What you bring:Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)Demonstrated experience in business partnering within finance or similar roles where collaboration with senior operations teams was essential.Proven ability to prepare detailed financial models using advanced Excel skills that support recruitment planning and contract management.Strong analytical skills enabling you to monitor management accounts outputs effectively while identifying areas for performance improvement.Excellent interpersonal communication abilities allowing you to confidently engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.Experience in developing rolling forecast financial models that update efficiently based on timely information gathered from various sources.Ability to build adaptable summary reporting tools that are user-friendly for both finance professionals and operational leads.Track record of performing periodic profit & loss reviews as well as contract performance assessments using suites of financial reports.Competence in providing clear explanations for cost variances within cost centre management information supporting decision-making processes.Familiarity with creating reporting tools for new contract implementation and embedding these into operational activities seamlessly.Capacity to respond quickly to ad-hoc commercial analysis requests while supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function.To apply for this fantastic opportunity, please get in touch today!Robert Walters Operations Limited is an employment business and employment agency and welcomes applications from all candidatesTPBN1_UKTJ
