Litigation Solicitor
Job Description
I am currently working with a well-established London-headquartered law firm on the continued growth of its Manchester litigation team.
\nDue to increasing instructions and ongoing expansion, the firm is looking to appoint a Property & Finance Litigation Solicitor to join its rapidly growing Manchester office, working closely with a Partner while maintaining responsibility for your own caseload.
\nThe Opportunity
\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a litigation solicitor seeking:
\n- \n
- High-calibre, technically strong work \n
- Exposure to quality clients including companies, private lenders and individuals \n
- Clear progression prospects within a growing team \n
- A balance of autonomy and Partner support \n
The firm has built a strong reputation for delivering commercially focused, high-quality advice and continues to attract complex and challenging litigation matters.
\nThe Work
\nYou will handle a varied caseload including:
\n- \n
- Debt recovery \n
- Commercial litigation \n
- Property litigation \n
- Acting for lender and finance company clients \n
There will also be exposure to:
\n- \n
- Receivership and insolvency-related disputes \n
- Mortgage possession claims \n
- Broader finance litigation matters \n
The caseload is busy and high quality, with a strong emphasis on client service, responsiveness and proactive risk management.
\nAbout You
\nThe firm is keen to speak with solicitors who can demonstrate:
\n- \n
- Experience running their own caseload with limited supervision \n
- Solid technical grounding in commercial and/or property litigation \n
- Experience in debt recovery matters \n
- Confidence working within SRA and firm protocols \n
- Strong written and verbal communication skills \n
- Excellent attention to detail \n
- The ability to manage deadlines in a pressurised environment \n
- Commercial awareness and a client-focused approach \n
Experience acting for lenders or finance company clients would be advantageous, as would exposure to insolvency or receivership work, although this is not essential.
\nAbove all, the firm is looking for someone confident, proactive and self-motivated, with a genuine desire to progress. Client care is central to the culture and the firm values solicitors who consistently go above and beyond for their clients.
