My Client, a large UK real estate business with a significant portfolio of long-term assets, is looking for an experienced Tax Manager to join its finance team on a part-time basis. The business is well-established, backed by institutional investors, and operates within a complex, dynamic environment with a strong focus on sustainability, innovation and effective stewardship.

The role involves taking ownership of the group’s tax activity across multiple entities, including managing external advisers, overseeing key returns, maintaining strong controls and supporting senior leadership on a range of strategic matters. You will also contribute to major upcoming projects, including a large-scale refinancing and the rollout of new ERP.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified tax professional (CTA or equivalent) with solid UK tax experience, particularly across indirect taxes and complex structures. Strong communication, attention to detail and the ability to work proactively with a variety of stakeholders are essential. This position offers the chance to shape a broad tax function and play a key role in a forward-looking organisation.
