Maintenance Technician

We’re looking for a hands-on Maintenance Technician to join a friendly maintenance team within a manufacturing environment. • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs
\n
• Maintaining a range of machinery including lathes, mills, grinders, furnaces and wire-making lines
\n
• Supporting the mechanical assembly of bespoke welding machines
\n
• Helping manage the site maintenance schedule to reduce downtime
\n
• Identifying improvements to machinery and processes
\n
• Working closely with the maintenance and production teams
\n

Maintenance Technician Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications\n

\n
• Strong mechanical maintenance experience within manufacturing or engineering
\n
• Experience maintaining manual or CNC machine tools (lathes, mills, grinders)
\n
• Experience with production machinery or furnaces would be beneficial
\n
• A hands-on approach, strong problem-solving skills and willingness to get involved
\n
• Mechanical engineering apprenticeship or Level 3 NVQ / City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering (or similar)
\n
