Overview

An exceptional and modern chartered accountancy firm is on the lookout for a new member of their expanding team. The purpose of this position will be to look after a varied portfolio of clients, and offer Xero support for a range of different responsibilities.

This role is Monday-Friday 37.5hrs with a hybrid working structure.

Salary is dependent on experience/qualifications.

Duties

\n
• Manage a regular portfolio of clients, acting as their main point of contact
\n
• Prepare, review, and submit VAT returns in line with HMRC requirements
\n
• Produce management accounts to support client decision-making
\n
• Carry out bookkeeping tasks across a range of industries
\n
• Advise and support clients with Xero and other cloud accounting queries
\n
• Contribute to maintaining our reputation for delivering exceptional Xero support
\n
• Provide training and guidance to clients on best use of Xero features
\n
• Prepare and submit CIS returns for clients in the construction sector
\n
• Collaborate closely with colleagues in a supportive team environment
\n
• Get involved in ad-hoc project work and process improvements
\n

What we're looking for

A successful candidate for this position will have a 5+ years prior UK Accountancy practice experience and be able to advise clients on various Xero technicalities. Candidates should be able to commute to the office location.
