Overhead Crane SlingerLocation: LoughboroughJob Type: 6 months ( Temp to perm)Working Hours: Mon to Thurs 7am -4pm, Fri 7am to 1pm

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Overhead Crane Slinger to join a busy and well-established manufacturing company in Loughborough. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term, temp-to-perm position with a company that values safety, teamwork, and reliability.

• Operating overhead cranes ranging from 25-tonne to 150-tonne capacity.
\n
• Slinging and safely moving large steel coils and other heavy products around the site.
\n
• Matching product numbers and ensuring materials are moved to the correct locations.
\n
• Working closely with production and logistics teams to maintain efficient workflow.
\n
• Carrying out pre-use equipment checks and following all health and safety procedures.
\n
• Working at height where required in accordance with site procedures.
\n

\n
• Previous experience as an Overhead Crane Slinger.
\n
• Valid FLT (Forklift Truck) Licence.
\n
• Experience operating overhead cranes up to 150 tonnes.
\n
• Working at Heights training or certification.
\n
• Ability to accurately identify and match product numbers.
\n
• Strong awareness of health and safety within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
\n
• Reliable, hardworking, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
\n
