Working within a highly automated environment, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving the performance of conveyors including hanging garment conveyors, sortation systems, automated handling equipment, palletisers, bagger, labelling machines etc This is an excellent opportunity for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer with am electrical bias with strong fault-finding abilities who enjoys working in a modern, technology-driven environment.Key Responsibilities for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer\n

\n
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across automated distribution equipment
\n
• Respond quickly to breakdowns and minimise operational downtime
\n
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults on conveyors, motors, sensors, drives, pneumatics, and automated systems
\n
• Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
\n
• Work with PLC-controlled systems and assist with basic fault diagnosis
\n
• Maintain accurate maintenance records using the CMMS system
\n
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures
\n
• Collaborate with operations teams to maximise site performance and efficiency
\n

Experience and Qualifications required for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer\n

\n
• Recognised engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, HNC, or equivalent)
\n
• Previous experience within an automated warehouse, distribution, FMCG, manufacturing, or logistics environment
\n
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
\n
• Experience working with conveyors, sortation systems, or automated handling equipment
\n
• Ability to work independently and within a team
\n
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
\n
