Threat Hunting & Detection Engineering AnalystLocation: UK Wide / HybridSalary: Up to £61,000A leading global technology and cybersecurity organisation is looking for a Threat Hunting & Detection Engineering Analyst to join their growing Cyber Defence team.This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex security engagements, helping organisations strengthen their threat detection capabilities through proactive hunting, detection engineering and continuous improvement.Youll join a highly skilled SOC team, working alongside threat intelligence teams, security analysts and client stakeholders to design, develop and optimise detection content aligned to emerging threats.The RoleYou will be responsible for developing and maintaining threat detection capabilities, conducting proactive threat hunts and supporting clients in improving their security posture.Key responsibilities include:Designing and implementing detection logic aligned with frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CKDeveloping, testing and tuning security detection contentConducting proactive threat hunts using telemetry, intelligence and security dataIdentifying suspicious activity and potential threats missed by existing detectionsSupporting detection playbooks, runbooks and SOC processesCollaborating with SOC, threat intelligence and security engineering teams to improve detection strategiesWhat Were Looking ForExperience in threat hunting, detection engineering or SOC operationsStrong understanding of security monitoring and incident detectionExperience developing or tuning detection use casesKnowledge of MITRE ATT&CK frameworkFamiliarity with SIEM platforms and security toolingAbility to analyse security data and communicate findings clearlyThis is a fantastic opportunity for a cybersecurity professional looking to work with advanced technologies, develop their skills and contribute to high-impact security programmes within a global organisation.TPBN1_UKTJ
