The role is focused on the verification, qualification and testing of safety-critical systems, ensuring products meet demanding customer, regulatory and certification requirements prior to release.Working within a multidisciplinary engineering environment, you will support products throughout the development lifecycle, playing a key role in proving system performance, demonstrating compliance and supporting certification activities.Main Duties - Systems Verification & Qualification EngineerDevelop and deliver verification and qualification strategies for avionics systemsProduce test plans, procedures, technical reports and compliance documentationSupport integration, environmental and system-level testing activitiesAnalyse test results and investigate technical issues to support programme deliveryDemonstrate compliance against customer, regulatory and certification requirementsWork closely with software, electronics and mechanical engineering teams throughout development programmesSupport system safety, risk and reliability activitiesMaintain verification evidence and requirements traceabilityParticipate in customer reviews and technical discussionsContribute to continuous improvement initiatives across engineering processesExperience, Skills & Qualifications - Systems Verification & Qualification EngineerDegree, HNC or HND qualified in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related disciplineExperience working within aerospace, defence or another highly regulated engineering environmentStrong experience in verification, validation, qualification or integration testing of complex engineering systemsExperience developing test plans, test procedures, verification reports and compliance documentationExperience analysing test data and demonstrating compliance against customer or regulatory requirementsUnderstanding of safety-critical systems and engineering lifecycle processesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teamsDesirable ExperienceAvionics or aerospace systemsEnvironmental, EMC, vibration or flight testingCertification and compliance activitiesRequirements management and traceability toolsCommercial or military aerospace programmesWhat We Are Able To Offer - Systems Verification & Qualification EngineerCompetitive salaryStrong annual bonus schemePrivate healthcareLife assurance33 days holidayFlexible benefits packageOpportunity to work on advanced aerospace programmesLong-term career development within a global engineering organisationIf you are a Systems Verification Engineer, Qualification Engineer, Verification Engineer, V&V Engineer, Integration & Test Engineer, Systems Test Engineer or Avionics Engineer, you may also be suitable for this role.Please contact Tobias Patterson on 01453 852 552 orOmega is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
