Operations Coordinator Location: Bournemouth, Dorset Hours: Full-time (Monday to Friday) Salary: Up to £35,000 per year (depending on experience) About the Opportunity We are delighted to be partnering with an established, highly successful commercial services group based in Bournemouth, who are seeking an experienced Operations Coordinator to join their expanding team. Supported by a proprietary digital platform and a large field-based specialist team, they are expanding their operations due to continued commercial growth. This is a pivotal coordination role designed for a proactive problem-solver. You will act as the vital link between corporate customers, internal management, and third-party subcontractors to ensure the seamless delivery of operational works from start to finish. Key Responsibilities of an Operations Coordinator * Customer Liaison: Managing general and technical customer enquiries professionally via telephone and email, serving as a supportive and empathetic face of the brand. * Works Coordination: Scheduling specialist appointments, coordinating repair and maintenance schedules, and adhering strictly to internal operational procedures. * Issue Resolution: Troubleshooting operational challenges independently within company guidelines, recommending tailored solutions to ensure swift project completion. * Stakeholder Collaboration: Working closely with internal technical leaders and operational managers to resolve complex customer queries and optimize appointment scheduling. * End-to-End Account Ownership: Managing the full customer journey, tracking progress from the initial request through to the successful completion of works. What We Are Looking For * Coordination Background: A minimum of 2 years of experience within a customer operations, scheduling, project coordination, or fast-paced administrative environment. * Telephone Experience: At least 1 year of dedicated phone-based customer service or operational support experience is essential. * Organisational Skills: Exceptional multi-tasking and time-management capabilities, with a meticulous eye for detail. * Communication Skills: A confident, articulate, and professional telephone manner with the ability to build rapport with a variety of stakeholders. * Location: Candidates must live within a reasonable commuting distance of the Bournemouth office for daily attendance.
