Teaching Assistant - Hemel Hempstead | September 2026 Start Teaching Assistants required to join an 'Outstanding' secondary school in Hemel Hempstead from September 2026. Prospero Teaching is working with a fantastic Outstanding secondary school in Hemel Hempstead that is looking to recruit a number of Teaching Assistants to join their supportive SEN department from September 2026. We welcome applications from Psychology Graduates, Graduates, and experienced Teaching Assistants who are passionate about making a real difference to the lives of young people. The successful candidates will support students with a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, Dyslexia, SEMH and behavioural needs, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential. Contract Details Location: Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire Position: Teaching Assistant Start Date: September 2026 Contract Type: Temp to Perm Hours: Full Time (8:00am - 3:30pm/4:00pm, plus parents' evenings where required) Pay: £95 - £110 per day, depending on experience Person Specification A Bachelor's degree or relevant experience working with young people. Psychology degree desirable but not essential. Previous experience working with children or young people is advantageous. A genuine passion for supporting students with additional needs.
