Based in Norwich and the surrounding Norfolk area, we are working with employers looking for experienced engineers who can diagnose, maintain and repair a wide range of agricultural machinery including tractors, telehandlers, combines, harvesters, sprayers and specialist farm equipment. If you are an Agricultural Engineer, Agricultural Technician, Plant Fitter, Heavy Plant Engineer or Diesel Mechanic with experience working on machinery, we want to hear from you. The Role - Agricultural Service Technician / Agricultural Engineer As an Agricultural Service Technician, you will be responsible for: Servicing, maintaining and repairing agricultural machinery including tractors, telehandlers, harvesters and farm equipment Diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and electronic faults Carrying out planned maintenance, breakdown repairs and inspections Working both in a workshop environment and attending customer sites as a field-based Agricultural Engineer Using manufacturer diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve faults Completing repairs efficiently while maintaining high standards of workmanship Completing service reports, job cards and warranty paperwork accurately Supporting farmers, contractors and rural businesses with reliable technical support Working safely and following company health and safety procedures Salary & Benefits £35,(Apply online only)-£45,(Apply online only) salary depending on experience and qualifications Overtime opportunities available Manufacturer training and technical development Access to OEM product training Company vehicle opportunities depending on role Pension scheme Full manufacturer support and training What We Are Looking For To be considered for this Agricultural Engineer / Farm Machinery Technician role, you will ideally have: Previous experience as an Agricultural Engineer, Agricultural Technician, Farm Machinery Technician, Plant Engineer or Heavy Equipment Mechanic Experience maintaining and repairing: Tractors Telehandlers Harvesters Combines Sprayers Construction plant Heavy machinery Strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fault-finding skills Experience using diagnostic equipment Relevant qualifications such as: Agricultural Engineering apprenticeship Land-Based Engineering qualification Level 2/3 Agricultural Engineering Plant Maintenance qualification Heavy Vehicle Maintenance qualification Full UK driving licence Ability to work independently and provide excellent customer service Locations We Are Recruiting Across We are looking for Agricultural Engineers and Farm Machinery Technicians across: Norwich & Norfolk Suffolk Cambridgeshire Lincolnshire East Midlands Yorkshire North East England South West England Midlands South East England Scotland Wales Whether you are looking for a workshop-based Agricultural Technician role, a field-based Agricultural Engineer position, or a move into the agricultural machinery sector, we would like to speak with you.
