They are looking to appoint an experienced Level 3 Qualified Joiner to join their skilled workshop team.The OpportunityThis is an excellent opportunity for a craftsman who takes pride in producing high-quality work and enjoys working on bespoke, one-off projects rather than repetitive production-line manufacturing.Working across a varied portfolio of primarily domestic projects, with occasional commercial work, you'll be involved in the manufacture, restoration and installation of bespoke joinery products including:Handmade kitchensBespoke furnitureCabinetry and fitted storage solutionsHeritage and restoration projectsArchitectural joineryCustom commissionsYou'll work with a wide variety of timbers including oak, pine, mahogany, maple, reclaimed timber, and other hardwoods, depending on individual customer requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesManufacture bespoke joinery, cabinetry and furniture to an exceptional standardRead and interpret technical drawings and specificationsOperate woodworking machinery safely and efficientlyAssist with on-site installation projects as requiredUndertake restoration and repair work on existing timber productsMaintain high workshop standards and housekeepingSupport, guide and mentor apprentices and less experienced team membersContribute ideas and solutions to improve processes and project deliveryWhat We're Looking ForEssentialNVQ Level 3 in Carpentry & Joinery or equivalentPrevious experience in bespoke joinery, cabinet making, furniture manufacturing or a similar environmentStrong attention to detail and pride in workmanshipAbility to work effectively both independently and within a teamFull UK Driving LicenceDesirableExperience within restoration or heritage joineryWood turning experiencePrevious experience supporting or mentoring junior staff and apprenticesWorking HoursMonday Thursday: 9:00am 5:30pmFriday: 8:00am 4:30pmSaturday: 10:00am 2:00pm (as required)BenefitsCompetitive hourly rate of £16.50 per hour depending on experienceEnhanced pension schemeEnhanced holiday entitlementCompany van available for business useOpportunity to work on genuinely bespoke, high-quality projectsSupportive and highly skilled working environmentLong-term career stability and development opportunitiesInvolvement in preserving and developing traditional woodworking and cabinet-making skillsIf you're an experienced Joiner or Cabinet Maker looking to join a business where quality craftsmanship is genuinely valued, we'd love to hear from you.TPBN1_UKTJ
