Senior Air Import Coordinator

A major UK & International Freight Forwarding organisation are experiencing major growth and are looking to add a Senior Air Import Coordinator to their team.This vacancy is for a senior air import clerk so they need to be able to work using their own initiative as they will be in the office as the only Import clerk on shift on some occasions over the weekend.ROLE: Senior Air Import Operator BASIC SALARY: £36k to £40k LOCATION: Heathrow HOURS: 4 on 4 off day shift & itll be 12-hour shifts from 0700-1900 hrs ( with a 1 hour lunchbreak ).ROLE: Managing the air Import process for clients from start to finish including customs clearance . Outstanding Customer ServiceManaging High Volume of air import shipments with minimum issueAssist customer with their Supply Chain ModelManaging Information Flow between SystemsManage Origin OfficesPre-AlertsOrigin managementCustoms EntriesTransport DeliveriesInternal / external communicationLiaising with Customers through Email & telephone.Job costing / InvoicingSystem updatesSkills required:Must have at least 4 years Air Import and customs clearance experience - EssentialIf they have Cargowise and/or Sequoia experience, this would be an advantage. Must have experience of dealing with Import customs clearancesProactively action duties on a daily basis, supporting the team during times of absence or holidays.Customer ServiceAble to process different types of customs entriesAccuracyAble to handle multiple customers & clearances each dayKnowledge of Cargowise & Sequoia an advantageFinancial AwarenessAble to work using their own initiativeManage customer issues and the ability to deal with minor issues, disputes, or complaints.TPBN1_UKTJ
