We support our team members to reach their full potential in an inclusive environment that values diversity.The RoleA vacancy has arisen for a FLT Driver/Material Handling at our Markham Vale Site.The role involves working a 12 hour continental shift pattern (nights & days).Reporting to a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day operations within the factory facility as well as the safe and efficient loading/unloading of pallets, whilst health and safety is adhered to at all times.This challenging position demands a proactive “hands on” approach, complimented by accuracy, adherence to deadlines and laid down proceduresTHE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE MUST HAVE:Counterbalance / FLT - EssentialKnowledge of warehouse Health and Safety requirements.Safe stacking and unstacking large quantities of pallets into rackingMoving pallets from storage areas to loading areas for transportUnloading deliveries and safely relocating the pallets to their designated storage areasExcellent time management with a flexible approach to workSkills : accuracy, attention to detail, reliability, computer literateAble to work to tight deadlines and targets - under own initiative and as part of a teamNaturally self-motivated and have the ability to work under minimum supervisionThe willingness to carry out other tasks as and when requiredWhat We OfferCompetitive salary & benefits, including annual leave, pension, and a Cycle to Work schemeOngoing training and development opportunities24/7 confidential support for you and your familyFlexible working options and family-friendly policiesGuaranteed interview for candidates meeting essential criteria (Disability Confident Employer)Ready to make an impact?
