Health & Safety & HR Advisor (NEBOSH Qualified)IntroductionWere looking for a proactive Health & Safety & HR Advisor to join a growing manufacturing business in Poole, in a predominantly Health & Safety-focused role (80% H&S / 20% HR). Youll play a key role in ensuring legal compliance, promoting a positive safety culture and providing HR support to managers and employees across the business.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as the companys competent person for day-to-day Health & Safety advice and ensure compliance with UK H&S legislation.Develop and maintain Health & Safety policies, risk assessments, safe systems of work, audits and site inspections.Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses, managing RIDDOR reporting and driving corrective actions.Deliver Health & Safety inductions, toolbox talks and ongoing training.Support ISO 45001, environmental compliance, contractor management and continuous improvement initiatives.Provide first-line HR advice to managers and employees on employment matters.Support recruitment, on boarding, contracts, probation reviews and employee records.Assist with disciplinary, grievance, absence management and performance processes.Produce HR metrics and reports, support payroll administration and contribute to employee engagement initiatives.Ideal Skills & ExperienceNEBOSH General Certificat e (essential).Previous Health & Safety experience within a manufacturing environment.Minimum 2 years HR experience, with a good understanding of UK employment law.Strong communication, organisational and influencing skills.Experience carrying out risk assessments, audits and incident investigations.Knowledge of ISO 45001, IOSH membership and/or CIPD Level 3 would be advantageous.Salary: £35K - £40K (Full time on-site role)Hours : Days - Monday to Friday (Flex on Start Time)Benefits and What's On Offer:40 hrs per week, with flexible start time from 7am until 9am.Workplace pension scheme25 Days Holidays + 1 extra for your Birthday + Bank Holidays.Long-term opportunity within a growing manufacturing business.Supportive and friendly working environment.Varied role with exposure to all aspects of transactional finance.Opportunity to develop your skills as the business continues to growThis is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to make a real impact within a growing manufacturing business, combining a hands-on Health & Safety role with broader HR responsibilities, so if you'd be keen to explore this Health & Safety & HR Advisor position, please apply and we'll be in touch.TPBN1_UKTJ
