This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced HSQE professional to lead compliance initiatives, drive continuous improvement and play a key role in embedding a proactive safety culture across a growing organisation.Working closely with senior management and departmental teams, the successful candidate will oversee the development and implementation of HSQE policies, manage regulatory compliance, support operational teams and ensure the business continues to meet industry standards across its fabrication and construction operations.HSQE Manager - Position RemunerationCompetitive salary depending on experienceKey leadership role within a growing structural steel and construction businessOpportunity to influence and develop HSQE standards across the organisationPrivate healthcare and additional employee benefitsSalary sacrifice pension schemeEmployee discounts and company benefitsOpportunity to work across a diverse range of structural steel projects and operationsHSQE Manager - Position OverviewLead and champion Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental standards across the businessDevelop, implement and maintain HSQE policies, procedures and improvement plansDrive a proactive safety culture by engaging employees at all levels and encouraging behavioural changeEnsure compliance with UK legislation, industry standards and company requirementsManage the Integrated Management System and support ongoing compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standardsPlan and deliver audits, inspections and reviews to ensure continued complianceManage risk assessments, safe systems of work and operational safety processesInvestigate accidents, incidents and near misses, implementing corrective actions where requiredDeliver toolbox talks, training and guidance to support employee awareness and competenceWork closely with departmental managers to identify improvement opportunities and implement effective solutionsMaintain and support external accreditation's and industry standardsMonitor HSQE performance through reporting, inspections and data analysisSupport compliance with construction industry requirements, including contractor management, competence and governance standardPromote continuous improvement across health, safety, quality and environmental practicesCarry out regular site visits and provide hands-on support across operational teamsHSQE Manager - Position RequirementsNEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety (or equivalent) is essentialMinimum of 5 years' experience within an HSQE management role, ideally within construction, manufacturing, engineering or fabrication environmentsStrong understanding of UK health and safety legislation and industry standardsProven experience managing audits, inspections and incident investigationsExperience maintaining third-party accreditation's and compliance standardsKnowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 requirements would be advantageousStrong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levelsPragmatic and solutions-focused approach with excellent problem-solving abilitiesStrong organisational skills with the ability to manage a varied and demanding workloadConfident delivering training and engaging teams to improve safety performanceProficient with Microsoft Office packagesIOSH certification, internal auditor qualifications or relevant degree would be advantageousExperience within a structural steel, fabrication or manufacturing environment would be beneficialFull UK driving licence and valid CSCS card are essential due to regular site visitsStreamline Search is a technical recruitment agency based in Chichester, West Sussex operating across the United Kingdom.
