Maintenance Engineer

Position: Maintenance EngineerLocation: West SussexSalary: £43,000 per annumHours: Monday Friday, 8:00am 5:00pmContract: Permanent, Full-TimeA prestigious FM service provider is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join their on-site engineering team at a commercial static site in West Sussex, with responsibility for one additional satellite site within the portfolio. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a stable MondayFriday role offering excellent training, career progression, and long-term stability.What youll do:Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive maintenance across a range of building services systems.Undertake general maintenance duties including basic mechanical repairs, fabric maintenance, routine plant inspections, and minor building repairs.Complete basic electrical works including lighting maintenance, lamp replacements, socket replacements, and minor rewiring tasks.Respond to maintenance requests and fault-find building services systems to ensure minimal disruption to site operations.Travel to a nearby satellite site when required, using the company vehicle provided.Ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely and in accordance with statutory compliance and health & safety regulations.Maintain accurate maintenance records and communicate effectively with site stakeholders.What youll bring:Previous experience within commercial building services or facilities maintenance.Good all-round knowledge of building services maintenance with basic electrical experience.Ability to carry out general fault finding and routine maintenance tasks independently.A proactive, reliable, and customer-focused approach.Full UK driving licence.Why Apply?£43,000 per annum salaryMondayFriday working pattern (8am5pm)Company vehicle provided for the additional satellite siteExcellent training and progression opportunitiesStable, long-term role within a professional engineering environmentTPBN1_UKTJ
