Talent & Development Strategy\n

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive talent development strategy aligned to business objectives.
  • \n
  • Build and evolve the organisation's talent management framework.
  • \n
  • Establish clear career pathways and progression frameworks across corporate and retail populations.
  • \n
  • Design initiatives that support internal mobility, employee growth and retention.
  • \n
Succession Planning & Talent Management\n
    \n
  • Lead the annual talent review process across the organisation.
  • \n
  • Design and facilitate succession planning programmes for critical and leadership roles.
  • \n
  • Embed effective talent identification methodologies, including 9-box grid assessments and talent calibration processes.
  • \n
  • Provide insight and recommendations on organisational capability and future talent requirements.
  • \n
Leadership & Capability Development\n
    \n
  • Develop leadership and management development programmes to strengthen capability across all levels.
  • \n
  • Create frameworks that support emerging, middle and senior leadership populations.
  • \n
  • Implement blended learning solutions that drive measurable business impact.
  • \n
  • Partner with HR and business leaders to identify capability gaps and development priorities.
  • \n
Assessment & Insight\n
    \n
  • Utilise psychometric and behavioural assessment tools to support leadership development and talent decisions.
  • \n
  • Leverage Insights Discovery accreditation to deliver individual and team development initiatives.
  • \n
  • Analyse talent metrics and provide meaningful insight to senior leadership on organisational capability, succession risk and development effectiveness.
  • \n
Stakeholder Management\n
    \n
  • Partner with Executive and Senior Leadership teams to shape and influence the talent agenda.
  • \n
  • Act as a trusted adviser to senior stakeholders on talent, development and succession matters.
  • \n
  • Facilitate talent review and calibration discussions with senior business leaders.
  • \n
Team Leadership\n
    \n
  • Lead, coach and develop a team of two Talent & Development professionals.
  • \n
  • Foster a high-performance culture within the team.
  • \n
  • Ensure effective delivery of all development and talent initiatives across the business.
  • \n

Profile

\n
    \n
  • Proven experience in a Talent Development, Talent Management or Organisational Development role.
  • \n
  • Experience operating within a retail, customer-facing or multi-site environment.
  • \n
  • Demonstrable experience building or transforming talent and development frameworks.
  • \n
  • Strong expertise in succession planning, talent reviews and 9-box grid methodology.
  • \n
  • Experience designing career pathways and leadership development programmes.
  • \n
  • Experience implementing talent management technology and assessment solutions.
  • \n
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at Executive and Senior Leadership level.
  • \n
  • Experience leading and developing a small team.
  • \n
  • Commercially minded with the ability to link talent initiatives to business outcomes.
  • \n
  • Data-driven approach with strong analytical and reporting capability.
  • \n
  • Insights Discovery Practitioner accreditation is essential.
  • \n
Desirable Experience\n

  • Experience supporting large-scale retail or consumer-facing organisations.

  • Exposure to organisational design and workforce planning activities.

Job Offer

  • £60,000 -£65,000 base salary depending on experience.
  • \n
  • 10-20% bonus based on company performance
  • \n
  • Hybrid role (2 weeks you will need to be onsite 4 days a week, and 2 weeks a month you will need to be 3 days a week onsite) in London Bridge
