An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Italian-speaking HR professional to join a growing global business on a 12-month maternity cover contract. Based in London, you'll play a key role in supporting HR operations across Europe, delivering expert payroll, recruitment, compliance, and employee support in a dynamic and people-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Manage monthly payroll administration, ensuring accuracy and compliance for employees across Italy and assigned regions. \n
- Provide end-to-end HR operational support throughout the employee lifecycle. \n
- Support recruitment activities in partnership with local stakeholders and Talent Acquisition teams. \n
- Coordinate onboarding and employee administration processes for new hires. \n
- Act as the first point of contact for HR queries, providing practical advice and guidance to managers and employees. \n
- Manage day-to-day low-level ER cases, escalating complex cases where appropriate. \n
- Support compliance with local employment legislation, company policies, and HR best practices. \n
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation. \n
- Partner with regional managers to deliver effective HR solutions and support business objectives. \n
- Assist with labour relations, absence management, and other HR operational activities. \n
- Identify and resolve HR process gaps, driving continuous improvement across the function. \n
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across multiple countries within a matrix organisation. \n
Profile
The Successful Applicant Will:\n- \n
- Be fluent in both Italian and English (essential), with the confidence to support employees and stakeholders across Italy and the wider business. \n
- Have previous experience in an HR Coordinator or, HR Generalist role with exposure to payroll and HR operations. \n
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and HR administration. \n
- Be comfortable managing payroll processes and ensuring a high level of accuracy and compliance. \n
- Have experience working within a fast-paced, multi-site, or international environment. \n
- Be able to work independently, manage competing priorities, and take ownership of their workload. \n
- Possess excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and support stakeholders at all levels. \n
- Be proactive, solutions-focused, and confident in handling day-to-day HR queries and challenges. \n
- Have strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail. \n
- Be comfortable learning new systems quickly and adapting to changing business needs. \n
- Previous experience in a regulated environment would be advantageous. \n
