Ready to take the next step in your marketing career?\n

Perhaps you're a Marketing Executive looking for more responsibility.

\n

Maybe you're a Senior Marketing Executive who's ready to own bigger projects.

\n

Or perhaps you're already a Marketing Manager but want a role where you'll have more influence, greater autonomy and the opportunity to genuinely shape a growing brand.

\n

If that sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you.

The Opportunity\n

We're working exclusively with an established premium pet brand to recruit a newly created Trade & Brand Marketing Lead.

\n

This isn't a replacement role.

\n

It's a brand-new opportunity created because the business is investing in its future.

\n

The leadership team has ambitious plans, exceptional products and a fantastic reputation within the industry. They're now looking for someone who can bring those ambitions to life.

\n

They're not simply looking for someone to "do marketing."

\n

They're looking for someone who enjoys creating momentum, taking ownership and turning ideas into action.

\n

Someone who wants to make a genuine difference.

About the Business\n

Our client is an independently owned premium pet food manufacturer with an outstanding reputation built on quality, education and doing things the right way.

\n

Their products are trusted by independent retailers, wholesalers, breeders, veterinary professionals and thousands of loyal pet owners throughout the UK.

\n

Around two-thirds of their business comes through trade, making this a commercially focused marketing role where you'll work closely with retail partners while continuing to build an already respected brand.

The Role\n

Reporting directly to the senior leadership team, you'll become the driving force behind the day-to-day marketing function.

\n

You'll coordinate campaigns, support product launches, strengthen relationships with retailers and wholesalers, work with external agencies and ensure marketing activity is delivered to the highest standard.

\n

This is a broad, hands-on role where no two days are the same.

\n

You'll have the freedom to bring new ideas, improve existing activity and make a visible impact across the business.

Key Responsibilities\n
    \n
  • Lead trade marketing activity across retail, wholesale and buying groups.
  • \n
  • Deliver integrated marketing campaigns from concept through to execution.
  • \n
  • Coordinate exciting product launches.
  • \n
  • Support retailers with engaging marketing initiatives.

  • Monitor campaign performance and marketing budgets.
  • \n
  • Work closely with commercial teams to support business growth.
  • \n
About You\n

We're looking for someone who enjoys making things happen.

\n

You may currently be working as a Marketing Executive, Senior Marketing Executive, Brand Executive, Assistant Brand Manager, Marketing Manager or Trade Marketing professional and be looking for more ownership and the opportunity to make a bigger impact.

\n

You'll enjoy delivering campaigns from concept through to execution and have experience across a broad marketing mix, whether that's trade marketing, brand campaigns, product launches, retailer support, digital marketing, PR, events, social media or agency management.

\n

You'll also be:

\n
    \n
  • Organised and highly motivated.
  • \n
  • Commercially aware.
  • \n

  • Confident managing multiple projects.
  • \n
  • A great communicator and relationship builder.
  • \n
  • Someone who takes ownership and enjoys working collaboratively.
  • \n
\n

Experience within the pet industry would be an advantage, but it's certainly not essential.

\n

We're equally keen to hear from candidates with experience in premium FMCG, consumer brands, food & drink, nutrition, retail, lifestyle or health & wellness who have marketed premium products and are looking for an exciting new challenge.

What's in it for You?\n
