We are seeking a dedicated Nursery Manager to lead our vibrant nursery in Godalming. This role is ideal for someone who has experience in early years education and has previously managed or led a room. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment for children.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Oversee the daily management and operations of the nursery.
\n
• Ensure high standards of care and education according to EYFS guidelines.
\n
• Lead and manage staff, including recruitment, training, and development.
\n
• Maintain effective communication with parents and staff.
\n
• Implement health and safety policies and ensure compliance.
\n
• Manage budgets and ensure financial efficiency.
\n
• Organise and participate in events and activities.
\n

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Level 3 CACHE or equivalent qualification in early years education.
\n
• Proven experience as a room leader or in managing a room within a nursery setting.
\n
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
\n
• Knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding procedures.
\n
• Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing demands.
\n
