The main responsibilities for the successful Parts & Consumable Procurement Manager:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business goals.
  • \n
  • Source and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best terms.
  • \n
  • Monitor and manage supplier performance for quality and reliability.
  • \n
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and relevant regulations.
  • \n
  • Analyse market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • \n
  • Work closely with internal teams to forecast procurement needs.
  • \n
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier agreements.
  • \n
  • Resolve any issues or disputes with suppliers promptly and effectively.
  • \n

Profile

A successful Parts & Consumable Procurement Manager should have:

    Experience in procurement, ideally within the automotive industry.

  • Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
  • \n
  • Knowledge of procurement policies and compliance standards.
  • \n
  • Ability to analyse data and identify cost-saving opportunities.

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • \n
  • Proficiency in relevant procurement software or systems.

  • Strong experience in the automotive industry and working within a parts and consumables environment.
