Our client, a successful and growing organisation based on the outskirts of Exeter, is seeking a commercially astute Management Accountant to join their finance team on a full-time, permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional to take on a varied role, supporting the delivery of accurate financial reporting and management information. As the Management Accountant, you will play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and driving informed business decisions within a collaborative and supportive environment.

The Responsibilities:

• Prepare management accounts and financial reports
\n
• Produce financial analysis and performance commentary
\n
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting
\n
• Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls
\n
• Manage fixed asset reporting and intercompany transactions
\n
• Support statutory reporting, audits, and compliance activities
\n
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to provide financial insight
\n
• Mentor and support junior members of the finance team
\n

The Candidate:

\n
• Fully or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
\n
• Previous experience in a management accounting role
\n
• Strong analytical, reconciliation, and Excel skills
\n
• Excellent communication skills with a commercial approach
\n
• Organised, proactive, and able to manage competing priorities
\n
