Finance Assistant

Reed Finance are working with a leading organisation in Portlethen to welcome a Finance Assistant to their growing finance team.

This role is ideal for an organised individual with strong numerical skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced engineering environment. The successful candidate will support the day-to-day operations of the finance function. Key responsibilities will include:

• Processing purchase invoices and supplier payments
\n
• Reconciling bank statements and supplier accounts
\n
• Assisting with monthly management accounts preparation
\n
• Assisting with VAT returns and other finance compliance tasks
\n
• Monitoring purchase orders and supporting cost tracking across projects
\n
• Providing general administrative support to the finance team
\n
• Supporting audits and year-end accounting activities
\n

We are looking to speak with candidates who have experience in a finance/accounts role, with a good understanding of basic accounting principles, along with an AAT qualification (or who are currently studying towards an accounting qualification).
